Jesus tells us to be thankful for what He has given us. This thanksgiving I fell short of any expectation of the such. My fiance and I got engaged on November 13. Our life, well, since we first started dating in 2007 has been crazy busy. With many expectations of it slowing down we are over and over again dissapointed. It has only gotten busier over the past 2 years. Now our hope is that after we get married in March it will surely slow down. Amidst all the chaos and confusion of our ever so blessed life I neglected to thank God for giving me things to be busy with. He has blessed me in so many ways that I can not count. My prayer 24/7 should be thankfulness to Him, yet I neglect to even pray somedays... other than the usual prayer at the lunch/dinner table. God please transform my heart to be one of thanksgiving. Please transform my mind to see You in all the busy things of the week. I am so thankful for your blessings, and I must note the most recent ones, engagement, new home, new computer after the old one crashed, amazing friends and coworkers, and an amazing fiance. Thank you Lord for many more unmentioned things!! Please help me to have a heart of thanksgiving!!
